Why I build
Tools for problems I actually have. The day job is fixing other people's breaks; this side is making my own — and documenting the whole stack while I'm at it.
A local-first web app for parsing and visualizing Counter-Strike 2 .dem files. No cloud, no accounts — queue the demos up, and the browser does the rest.
Upload a .dem — or a queue of them, up to 512 MB each — replay fights on an interactive minimap, dissect aim stats, browse player loadouts, and poke the raw data in a built-in SQL admin. No cloud, no accounts. A local analytic tool with a rich feature set, still expanding.
Replay, aim, loadout — one upload, three ways to read a match.
The next cut of the viewer is on the bench (branch: Bleeding-edge-visual_timeline-enh). It gets the same treatment — build, dissect, ship — the moment it's real.
